Meeting with Turkish Electrical and Electronics Exporters' Association

October, 2017

Meeting with Turkish Electrical and Electronics Exporters' Association

Partner of SCM Consult Yalcin Erisgen has organized the meeting between the Turkish delegation representing electrical and electronics industry and the Managing Partner of SCM Consult A. Ikhsanov.

The meeting with the participation of the leadership of Turkish Electrical and Electronics Exporters' Association (ТЕТ-Turkish Electro Technology, Turkish Exporters Assembly, Electrical Electronics and Services Exporters' Association) Atilla Eren and Ali Kaldırımcı and the representative of the Ministry of Economy of Turkey Ali Riza Oktay took place in the IT-park in Kazan.

Today, many overseas exporters consider Tatarstan as an entry point to the whole russian market, and, in the perspective, having assessed the market demand, they can further localize their business activities in one of the free economic zones of Tatarstan (Alabuga, Innopolis) etc. which provide tax and infrustructural preferences for investors. It is also important to note that today Tatarstan is the leader of national investment climate rating.

However, apart from “hard infrustructure” many foreign companies put a lot of focus on "soft" infrustructure which amongst other things includes standards of work of local companies, evaluation methods of business and risks, local competencies etc. For those directions SCM Consult serves as proved and reliable partner of foreign companies. The format of such cooperation was discussed during the meeting.

Special thanks to our partner Yalchin Erisgen for his contribution to organize this work from his side in Turkey.
